This apartment is in the best location. It's within walking distance to everything you could possibly need. The apartment was clean and exactly how it was described in the listing. Some people have complained about the noise level but I slept like a baby every single night for two months. Mercedes is an outstanding host and and her response time is amazing. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. I'll be back in February and will be renting it again.

Wow! Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The host kindly helped me find the place late at night when I was tired and confused - thanks a lot! Apartment was very clean, spacious, had everything we needed and more. They had put lots of thought into what is left for guests -from spare bedding, to candles, to playing cards, movies, and snacks when we arrived. Communication was great when we had requests and questions. Nice building, very safe and secure, pool was great. Location is excellent - convenience stores, restaurants, bars, bigger stores, 5th avenue, beach and taxis all just a short walk away. Highly recommend staying here - as long as you are okay with music playing late into the evening (it's good music though!)

Super nice and spacious apartment just a couple minutes walk to Mamitas beach. I stayed here for two months without issue, it has everything you need. The only thing of note is the noise at night, but it didn't bother me too much (and it's noted in the description). Just bring some earplugs and enjoy the atmosphere!

“El departamento es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, espacioso y muy bien equipado. Fui un mes con mi familia (esposo y dos bebes) y supero mis expectativas el equipamiento, todo para cocinar lo que se te ocurra, toallas suficientes para disfrutar salidas a la playa, espacios muy amplios para estar cómodos. La alberca está padre y también muy disfrutable, así como la terraza con mesa y sala. Buen wifi para trabajar en línea, smart tv etc. Si es un área con mucho ruido en las noches como lo indica el anuncio, si esperas silencio no te conviene, la música de un bar enfrente es alta y se escucha todos los días de 9 a 1am, al final te acostumbras y no es mayor problema, de hecho en los cuartos no se escucha tanto. Mercedes nos resolvió muy rápido las dudas, y lo excepcional es que nos toco un huracán y la atención fue súper buena, el departamento está preparado con estructuras en los ventanales que hace que se sienta muy seguro. Volveríamos sin pensarlo.”

“This place is in the best location, clean and modern, and the hosts are very responsive! I stayed for over a month and would do it all over again. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Playa Del Carmen. Amazing food close by, both local and tourist spots. Bars in a short walking distance and not to mention the beach is a block away. “We were on a tour to Playa Del Carmen and nearby areas. My main need was a safe place for my family and a parking space for a rental car. This had both plus excellent location -walk to beach and 5th avenue. The apartment itself was nicely setup, had all amenities we needed. We had nice chat with others staying in the building, downstairs near the pool. The music from bar opposite may be bit loud, but for us, the extra door in hallway worked good to keep it down. Mercedes's team of hosts were always available to help. They waited for us past mid-night to show us the place. Later gave me tips on local places. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Playa Del Carmen and the stay at Mercedes's place gave us a unique feel of it.”

Joseph01 / 04 / 2019The Condo is as pictured, well equipped, spotless, homey and very comfortable. The staff is great from the people that check you in to the cleaning staff. Everything you need is there, just bring you cloths. You are close to 5th Ave. and the beach and just a few blocks away from the food store. If you don't want to cook there are many food option with in a block or two. We highly recommend this condo and have stayed here before, and will again when we visit Playa del Carmen in the future.

We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place that is close to everything, beach, 5th Ave., restaurants, and with parking. Considering the location you would not know you only 1 block away from 5th Ave, its very quiet. The condo is very comfortable and inviting, well appointed for relaxing, cooking in or bringing diner home. We just love the place and will/have recommended to friends. You would not be disappointed if you stay here for few days or weeks. 5 Stars! Mercedes and her team are the greatest!

The beds are so comfy and we were grateful to come "home" to recharge. The kitchen had everythingwe needed, especially since we travel with a toddler. There is nothing we can complain about and will be staying here when we visit PDC again.

The location was spectacular, a few steps to Guy Fieri's restaurant on the Quinta, and a couple minutes from the beach. It really was the best location for exploring. We also had a great parking space. My family enjoyed our stay and we would return to this apartment in a heartbeat.

The place is very suitable for families with kids like ours and even for singles/couples with no kids. The location is perfect, just 2 blocks to Fifth Avenue (3 minutes walk) and 2 blocks to the beach (5 minutes walk). There is a parking available if you have a car. AC worked GREAT. You can walk to restaurants and bars. The place was very clean and the cleaning lady was wonderful and did a great job when she came to clean the place half way through our stay. Mercedes was very quick to respond to my phone calls or text messages. This makes us feel very much cared for. I have absolutely no complaint about our stay in this place. We can't wait to be back to Mercedes's unit.

Even though your near 5th Ave the place is quiet and large living areas help with noise in the dwelling. Since i was traveling with my kids in their 20's , they could stay up late come and go as they pleased, I could still rest comfortably in my bedroom. I would definitely stay here again. Plus they provide drinking water which saved us from lugging large bottles of water from the grocery store. I definitely recommend this place.

Just one block far from the 5th Av & two blocks far from Mamita's Beach Club. Private pool, equipped big kitchen, 2 rooms ideal for couple, TV with cable, terrace, conditioned air and one parking slot. Strongly recommended!

The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The beds and baths were excellent, beds comfortable and shower with lots of hot water. The living area with cable TV was great (English on lots of channels). The shaded outside seating area with cushioned chairs and wonderful breeze help make the vacation perfect!

Unfortunately we missed the cruise from Cozumel and it was 2 PM but she managed and consider us to leave 3 PM. The Condo near to beach like after two block. The Condo is so beautiful and clean as you see the image in Airbnb. Mercedes is very polite lady. I can assure if you stay in this apartment you feel like home. Thank You Mercedes for everything.

We had to depart two days earlier due to an emergency and called the two emergency phone numbers provided to inform of our early departure because they needed to have someone present during the checkout to ensure no damage to the condo. I called Saturday afternoon, evening, night and Sunday morning, and no one answered the phones or called back in reply to my voice mails. Had this been a real emergency such as a broken water pipe or electrical malfunction, we would be left with no choice but to look for another place to stay for the night.

She apartment was nice and clean plus spacious. The location was great too. It was close to restaurants and bars and about a 10-15 min to the night life.

Decorado con muy buen gusto y con mobiliario muy funcional. Las fotos son muy representativas de lo que es realmente (sin engaños). La ubicación del lugar es inmejorable, entre la playa y la 5ta Avenida haciendo que todo quede muy cerca. La atención de Mercedes y María Eugenia fue excelente. Benita01 / 12 / 2015The condo was just as pictured and described. Location was great being close to 5th (if you don't mind being in a very touristy area) and the beach was super convenient. We dealt with Patricia and Maria who were both lovely and responsive to our requests. A few minor things to mention and suggest -- the pool is lovely, however if you are interested in sitting poolside to sun, the pool gets no sun. Lovely place to take a dip and cool off though and my kids didn't mind the no sun. The balcony is lovely, but being so close to town, you do have the street noise - I didn't mind with my morning coffee at all. At night, a neighbor puts their dog out at 11pm who then proceeds to bark until 2AM (this happened more than half of our stay) so if you are a light sleeper, keep this in mind. Our other suggestion would be to provide a few portable chairs to carry to the beach. Although the 50% discount passes are great for chairs at Mamita's it still amounts to around $35-$40US per chair a day. $150 a day for my family - too much. All in all, we did love the place - it was comfortable and worked for our family and if we decide to visit again, would definitely reach out to Mercedes and Playa Paradise.

Reva01 / 02 / 2015The location of the condo was great, less than a block away from 5th ave and great restaurants and a few blocks away from the beach. They were nice enough to include 1/2 tickets to mamitas beach club (although we couldnt use them bc it's soo busy). Only cons were that the condo smelled weird anytime the ac wasn't on (which we didn't leave on when we were out all day) and that the guest room sheets smelled weird. Any issue we had were resolved immediately always which was great.

We was 2 guys staying there way to big only for us but was amazing anyway. Everything was very easy chek in and check out! The cleaning personal is also very professional and nice. I really recommend this place. It is a perfect place if you wanna explor yucatan, it is near of everything.
