Our 8 day stay was wonderful - right on the beach, easily walkable to all restaurants and shopping. Mercedes was a perfect host, extremely responsive and proactive regarding check in and support during our stay. The apartmedant is directly across from Martina Beach Club which has loud music playing every day throughout the afternoon until 7PM as well as during some nights. It only really affected the front facing bedroom, but we were still able to sleep. Shouldn't be a problem for most guests, but just worth noting. Despite that I would stay again, the place was an ideal location and Mercedes was a perfect host!

The home is exactly as described in the ad. We loved the location, within walking distance to everything you need and a great view of the Ocean. It is nicely setup for two couples to enjoy.

First time in PDC, but I was genuinely very impressed with the host and the accommodations. Response times were super quick always (even so I asked a million questions), and host was very accommodating. Beach was a stone through away and while the ocean view isn't unobstructed, it was an amazing view every morning and evening! Jacuzzi was a nice touch, as is the roof top terrace. Jacuzzi is not heated, but you don't need it to be, especially during the day. Some people complained about the noise from the beach club in front and I'm not sure what bothered them, but for the most part, I never heard them or I heard the music in the background. It certainly didn't interfere with my sleep or my stay! When I go back to PDC, I'll definitely stay here again.

This is a great property. The location to restaurants, beach, and 7-11 for quick eats and drinks is as close as crossing a street. The a/c was awesome and the view from the pool is great. I highly recommend this location. Mario was amazing to work with and their staff is super friendly.

The place was just beautiful and had an amazing rooftop terrace that we loved to spend our time hanging out and enjoying ourselves! Everything was perfect and went smoothly during our stay. We didn’t need a car rental everything was walking distance. We did use a taxi for day trip to ruins but everything else we wanted to do was walking distance. Beds were very comfortable and condo had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing extra needed was a blow dryer attachment for someone with long hair that uses a round brush but everything else was perfect ????

We stayed for 6 nights with my wife and two boys (12 & 14), and had a wonderful time. The place was in a great location with 100’s of restaurants within a mile or so from the place. We all felt extremely safe both inside and outside of the building. There was one night the music across the street was loud, and went until later in the night than we would prefer, but other than that it wasn’t much of an issue. The upstairs part of the unit is great for sitting outside in the morning and watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee in hand. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Our stay was perfect, and we will definitely return. The suite is not only beautiful, but in a very secure location and nice neighborhood. We were in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The only thing I would change is the jacuzzi doesn’t get hot enough, but it was still pleasant. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

This condo is gorgeous. Extremely clean and spacious. It’s in a good walkable location to restaurants etc. Host was very responsive and helped me arrange transportation to and from the airport. As someone else said in another review, you do hear the music from the beach clubs across the street. But, it usually stops before 11 or so. I was traveling with my Dad and the elevator was awesome because it was an easy way for him to get to the top floor balcony with the hot tub without taking the stairs. I would gladly return.

Inside we didnt hear much, so it did not bother us. plus they shut down at a decent hour. Loved the terrace.. bathtub... bed in a cabana that can be converted into private space easily... La ubicación es muy conveniente, lejos del ruido para poder descansar, pero suficientemente cerca de restaurantes. El lugar es muy cómodo, cuenta buena internet, es limpio, tres TVs y lo mejor es el segundo piso con hamaca, jacuzzi, regadera y otros. La cocina muy equipada y también estacionamiento privado (descubierto). Muy recomendable en Playa del Carmen, a 60 km de Tulum al sur y 65 km de Cancún al norte. Destaco también la atención recibida in situ.

Mercedes and Mario were exceptional hosts. Mario greeted us upon our arrival, showed us where to park and how to get into the building and condo. He stayed to answer all of our questions and made sure we knew how to operate the A/C before he left :) The condo is just as pictured, and is located right off the beach in a very walkable area. The pedestrian shopping street 5 Av Nte is just a few blocks away, and there are dozens of options for restaurants within a short distance. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. It was comforting to know that a large police station was just a few blocks away on Av CTM, and police were regularly patrolling the streets. I would definitely stay here again!

Mercedes place was amazing! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Fully equipped with amazing views. Roof top is very relaxing. Very peaceful and secure place. There is also a very good Italian restaurant and 711 walking distance. Upon arrival we were greeted. We’re given all the codes for the place. Few recommendations for places to eat. Very friendly. Overall all I can say is it was a beautiful penthouse style home! We will definitely hope to visit again! Thank you Mercedes!

Excellent place! 5 min walk to 5th ave. Ocean view. Amazing rooftop loft with bed, hammock, shower and jacuzzi in it with tub. Across the street are two great beach clubs. Public beaches are within one block. The clubs do play music but it did not bother us at all. Interior was perfect. Very comfortable beds. The building is great and very safe. 7-11 and pharmacy are directly across the street. If you are looking for something “in town” but still get a resort feel and amenities without the “resort”…. This is the place to be! Tip: at night, walk up the beach to 38th street and then up to 5th ave. 38th s a beautiful street with excellent restaurants. Glad we found it! Even better than 5th ave.

What a wonderful condo. We were looking for something near the ocean that we could walk to local bars/restaurants etc and this place really fulfilled that. The rooftop was an amazing spot to hang out and listen to the day club music without having to be down in the day club itself which was fantastic! The amenities in the house made our vacation wonderful and the complex as a whole was just stunning. We can’t wait to come back!

The condo was just the space we needed. It's a quiet building a lively area. Very clean and comfortable all around throughout our stay. The place had all the amenities and the pool was lovely. Just a walk away from the ocean and a lot of great restaurants all within walking distance. Mercedes was incredibly accommodating with our flight changes and getting us settled. Definitely on our list of places to come back again.

I’m one of those people who does hours of research before deciding on a place to stay. And this place checked all the boxes. First off you walk in and it’s clean clean clean. Plenty of towels for two of us. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided as well. A all-in-one shampoo/body wash in both bathrooms plus hair dryers. Wifi worked all throughout the house with ease, but would get spotty when we were on the ocean facing patio. Netflix on all 3 TVs. Access to the roof top pool from patio. Big jug of drinking water. Huge showers with hot water. 24-hour security was very pleasant and helpful, also will get you taxis for places. 5 minute walk from 5th street and 1 minute walk from the beach. When spending time in the house you can hear the music from the beach club downstairs. Honestly we spend all day outside of the house so by the time we get home around 10pm its no longer playing. So if you’re the lighter sleeper of the bunch, choose the room in the back. There is a building in front of the patio that blocks the sunrises. But the beach is right there, so I’m my opinion watching the sunrise on the beach is much better anyways. Lockbox available for valuables. Plus keyless entry to the building and home made it easy to not lock yourself out. The cleaning ladies showed up the morning of our checkout so we asked them to come back and they were very accommodating and super sweet. All in all a fabulous house! Will come back for sure :)

Amazing. This is the most well managed AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The hosts are very accommodating . Their team is very responsive to all questions and requests we had. The location is perfect. There is a police station very close to the home. The area is very safe. There is a beach club right across the street that is awesome. The food ,drinks and music were all great. You are also a couple of blocks from 5th avenue. 5th avenue has restaurants, bars, malls and small vendors as well. I will definitely stay here when we return to Playa Del Carmen.

Another awesome stay at this beautiful property. We love the location and how easy it is to get to 5th Ave. the condo is comfortable, clean and the view is stunning. We loved enjoying a glass of wine at night on the rooftop deck and suntanning on their new sun chairs during the day. The mattresses and pillows are so comfortable and relaxing. Mercedes is amazing. She is so quick to respond and she was even able to help us with our transfer back to the airport. Overall an incredible stay and we will be back without a doubt!!

This is a beautiful clean spacious penthouse with tons of amenities. Beautiful view, steps away from the ocean safe , secure. Martina Beach Club is right across the street and play lovely loud music all day only as a heads up for someone who might be bothered by this. But it did not bother US at all it was upbeat and fun great place to party as well if you're looking to do so. Mercedes had great communication very prompt really couldn't ask for a better place definitely would stay here again

Wonderful accommodations. Location about ten minutes walk to Avenida Quinta! Unit is exactly as described. Communication with host and her TEAM was superior. Only minor complaint was wi-fi a little slow (but to be expected in this area) and router cannot handle too many multiple connections simultaneously. Have fun and explore the area...you will not go wrong with this unit and location!!!!

The location is excellent…steps to the beach and a 5 min walk to great restaurants. The host was waiting for us when we arrived and check in was very easy. The space is very nice. The beds are super comfortable, the AC works great, and the private rooftop is A+. As other have mentioned, you can hear the music from the beach club across the street. This didn’t bother us at all, and the music only plays during the day. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

You will not be disappointed with this property. It was perfect for our family of five. The location to the beach and within walking distance to 5th avenue makes this condo unique. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The upstairs balcony was amazing and we used it a lot. While we couldn’t use the beach as much as we wanted due to the seaweed we were able to be out on the balcony and the rooftop pool. This property is beautiful.

Wonderful spot! Great location! Mere steps from the beach and where boats pick up for dives for PDC and Cozumel! There is a beach club we got free passes to just downstairs. There is construction nearby in a couple places but the noise was not bothersome. You will hear music from the beach club but I didn’t mind. A couple of minor issues came up and were resolved extremely fast. The hosts are very fast to respond and handles it immediately. A short walk away from 5th Ave but far north enough that we felt like we were in the quiet part and could choose to walk the 10 mins to get to a more lively part of town. It was lovely having multiple private terraces and with our own jacuzzi. The pool open to public was often empty. Security was helpful in helping us get a taxi and patrolling.
