This house was great for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. Very close walking distance to the beach for our young ones. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets ! Walking distance to shops and food. We felt very safe and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, great water pressure and all amenities as described in her listing. Mercedes was a great host !

Great accommodation for a group holiday! Close to the beach, walkable to play del Carmen’s city centre with lots of wonderful restaurants and things to do. The pool and hot tub were great, they were very clean/private. The kitchen had everything you need if wanting to cook at home. Overall it was a great space and we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely vacation staying at this house. The location is fantastic — you can see and hear the ocean from the patio and from the master bedroom. It’s a little far if you’re walking to and from restaurants, but not terrible. The host and her team were very responsive. We reached out with a couple questions and received text responses within just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend booking this home.

What an exceptional property. Fantastic views, perfect location, steps from the beach, unobstructed views from both floors. Immaculate home, apportioned perfectly, needed nothing at all. Super comfortable beds and living spaces. Hot Tub and pool were clean and perfect. Would stay here again and again.

Beautiful home and location, very close to the beach. Beds were comfortable, pool was private and perfect, AC in every bedroom and living spaces. We were met at checkin and introduced to the home and all the facilities which was perfect. Host was very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed the home and neighborhood. Security was present and we always felt safe. Will definitely plan to come back. Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and ocean view were beautiful, exactly as pictured, and in a great location just a short walk from the beach and 5th Avenue. Mercedes and her team were very responsive and greeted us when we arrived, showing us around the house. The hot tub on the balcony was a great place to view the ocean and to have a relaxing end to the day. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area

Playa Grande had it all. Location, safety, pool, hot tub, view of beach, beach a block away, very short walk to excursion pick up, reasonable walk to town. It goes on and on. I would go back every year but my family will not go to the same place more than once. We had a couple of small problems that where solved very quickly. We did find the showers to be poor. Hard to get hot water. Sinks where fine but showers where hard to get hot water to. Thinking about Playa Grande? Book it!

Beautiful home and fantastic location. Very convenient by the beach and loved the deck. Mercedes was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again when visiting playa.

Mercedes (and Alejandro) were great from the beginning to the end. We were at Mercedes' home for a family vacation (8 people, which included 2 kids and 2 grandparents). Mercedes was gracious to allow us to check in early, check out late, and came in the middle of the week with cleaning services. The location is second to none, less than 5 minute walk to the beach, and the jacuzzi on the top floor with an ocean view was our favorite place in the house.

Lovely home in a great neighborhood. If what you seek is a peaceful vacation with gorgeous views, this is the place. Plenty of room for lounging and having nice meals together. Taxis were available within minutes by phone. We would definitely stay here again:)

La casa está muy bonita, muy bien cuidada, muy bien ubicada y todo lo tienen en óptimas condiciones. Las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables. Las 4 habitaciones están muy cómodas y muy limpias. Tiene lavadora y secadora. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario. Todos los días limpian la alberca y cuidan muy bien el jardín. Definitivamente fue una excelente opción para vacacionar.

Thank you Mercedes for hosting us at the Casa Grande in Playacar Fase I - all of us had a great time. The place was impeccable, better than the pics, location convenient-right across from the beach, view was amazing, and the villa amenities were great. The local staff was always available and cleaned and checked on us several times including fixing any issues immediately. We could not have asked for a great location, a 10 minute walk to Paseo del Carmen mall, food and shopping all nearby, and enjoyed the peace and quiet once back to the villa. Also appreciate you helping with airport transport for several of us at different days and times - the service was on-time, super clean with professional drivers. We didn’t have a bad meal while there, we spent every morning on the patio overlooking the ocean, walked 10 min to the local mall for breakfast and coffee, ate out for lunch and ordered in for dinner. We used Playita Express and Uber Eats for delivery from local restaurants. Our favorite restaurants were Lara&Luca and Lost Tiki . Several malls were within walking distance or taxi (many local taxis are available, no Uber). We definitely recommend this place and revisit! Thanks again,

Casa Grande is a wonderful vacation home. My family went with another family (4 adults, 4 children) and everyone was very comfortable. The home had everything we needed. The pool is small but more than enough for small children. The hot tub is wonderful for the cool evenings when the breeze is coming off the ocean. The beach is right across the street, and the main town is a 10-15 minute walk. One additional feature that isn’t in the listing is that the property includes a water cooler, with 5 gallon jugs of water being replaced daily, if needed. This is a great amenity as you don’t need to buy your own water supply for cooking and/or drinking.

This place was perfect for our family of 8! From the very beginning to the end, communication was spot on and clear. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed to make our time in Playa a success. Took advantage of their ability to have groceries there when we arrived which was awesome and saved a trip when we first landed. Excellent walking distance to the heart of Playa. A moped rental would have been good on hot days, but it was an easy 10-15 minute walk. Consider this one for sure! You will be pleased.

Mercedes was an excellent host. She was on it with every question or issue. The tenant before us used all the gas in thr grill, we sent a message to get it filled and it was done in under 30 mins. on top of her being an amazing host, the place was comfortable clean and beautiful. It was right in town with lots of things to do. I would definitely go back.

This house is espectacular! The location is amazing and Carmen was an exceptional host. Super responsive and helpful. The house is in a great location, super secured and beautiful houses around. We were a group of 8 adult and each had our own bedroom with bathroom. The terrace with the jacuzzi has the most beautiful view and the pool in the backyard is just perfect. The front terrace is super relaxing; we spend a lot of time in this area just admiring the view. The grill worked perfect and the kitchen was super convenient and we made lots of meals. The walk to 5th avenue can be a bit tiring specially if you have kids, so renting some type of vehicle (golf cart, bike, etc) will be a good idea. If you are doing any excursion like Xplor or Xcaret the meeting point is right at the mall which is at the entrance of the complex. I’d definitely rent Casa Grande, but this time I will bring my kids because they will really enjoy this house.

Perfect! We had an amazing time at Casa Grande! The location was perfect - view of the ocean and palm trees was our daily zen. The walk to the beach was much closer than I had thought (it's less than a block away) and that was nice surprise. Walk to town was a little further than we could do (I have some issues walking very far) but Mercedes and team were able to get us taxis easily. The rooms were comfortable. With so many outdoor spaces to use, we were able to move around throughout the day for the perfect amount of sun or shade as needed. We had groceries delivered and even a private chef the first night! I have nothing but rave reviews for this place and the management team. We will definitely want to come back again!

Amazing property just as advertised!! Great for groups/families. We loved having privacy and security yet still only being about a 20-30 min walk to the center of Playa. Highly recommend!

This house was wonderful. Every room was great and each bathroom was perfect. Tv service and internet were reliable and easy to use. The view of the beach was spot on and the beach was easily accessible. Security within the complex was good and it was accessible to all the things we wanted to do while there. I’d book again.

This house and it’s location are wonderful! The home is clean, well maintained, with 2 bedrooms (queen bed) on the first floor each with it’s own bathroom, closet, fan, air conditioner and one of the rooms has a tv. Also on the first floor there’s a half bath by the entrance. Living room with a/c, fan, tv, books and magazines. Big dining room for 7. Full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, full fridge and water cooler (water jugs provided). Separate laundry room with washer and dryer. Other 2 bedrooms are on the second floor. One with two single trundle beds (total of 4 beds) it has its own bathroom, closet, fan and a/c. The other room is the master with a king bed, closet with a safety box, bathroom, tv, fan and a/c. On the second level you also find a huge terrace with a jacuzzi for 6 people and an outstanding view of the ocean! The pool is in the backyard with a couple of tables and plenty of seating. The home has good WiFi connection, beach chairs, sand toys, pool noodles and floats. There’s 2 irons and an ironing board, also every bathroom has a hair blow dryer. Playacar is very safe, the beach across the street of the house is clean, not busy at all and beautiful to swim. Playa del Carmen and 5ta Avenida are very close with plenty of options for restaurants and shopping. Communication with the host was great, check in and out was smooth. We are very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place!

We stayed in Playa Del Carmen with a full house with family + friends. The location is great and tons of people around all the time to make you feel safe. There was a lot of seaweed at the beach but apparently it’s just the time of year. Nothing anyone could have done. We had two toddlers with us on the trip and Mercedes provided us with cribs that fit them perfectly. The pool was great so we could either go to the beach or swim and hangout at the pool. All in all we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Mercedes and Christobal were very hospitable and accommodating to any questions or requests we had. We were traveling internationally for the first time since the pandemic with 2 toddlers, but they made it so easy. The house is amazing spectacular views and super close to the beach. Pool and hot tub were great amenities too. Not a far walk to 5th Avenue and easy to get taxis.

This house is absolutely stunning and so close to the beach you can hear the waves crash from the bedroom at night. Beautiful views. Extremely safe neighborhood with security patrol and guarded entrance. The beach is private to residents in the area which is super nice. Great place for a weekend trip with friends or to unplug. Casa Grande is everything one would like to have in a vacation home. The place is sparkling clean, well equiped and conveniently located. Casa Grande was amazing. Four beautiful bedrooms each with their own bathroom, the pool was amazing and a great escape from the sun. The top deck with a perfect temperature hot tub for hot weather had a wonderful view. Half a block from a spacious not that crowded beach. Casa Grande was an amazing 15 minutes walk to 5th ave and 10th ave. You walk by ruins on the way into town. It was truly the perfect house if you are looking for a house for a family vacation. We went with my in-laws , and they found it perfect as well. Thank you Casa Grande. Highly highly recommend

“If you are planning your next family trip, this is THE place. It is in a gated community so it is totally safe (only one taxi company is allowed in). Perfect view of the beach, just like the pictures! The lot of land in between this house and the beach is private property so you do have to go around the house in front to get to the beach, but that isn’t a far walk at all. It is also in a walkable distance to the ferry (to Cozumel)! Overall my family really enjoyed staying in this house for our trip and I recommend it for the location and the private area to yourself.
