The home far exceeded our expectations!!! It was beautiful and provided great space for our family of seven. The three-minute walk to the beach was perfect, as my two granddaughters wanted to go there daily... or twice daily. The mangrove (forest) dividing us from the beach was refreshing and teaming with wildlife that was not invasive at all. The drive to town took about 5 minutes. The security and cleaning service were unsurpassed. We shall return!!

Casa Bella Vista - Beautiful villa, extremely clean, great location. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10-15 minutes to town. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We were a group of four couples and having four bedrooms all with ensuites was perfect. We have stayed at many Airbnb's and this one was by far, the most well stocked we have been to. The kitchen literally has everything you need to cook great meals. Having the extra fridge in the utility room was a bonus. The layout of the home is great. Melina and Mercedes were quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. Highly recommend this villa. We had a great time!

We loved everything about our stay at our beautiful Villa in Playa del Carmen. Mercedes was an excellent host. She responded quickly to all of our communication. She met the special requests we had. Since our family of 8 included a baby, this was so helpful. The house was beautiful and clean. It was less than a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. We did not rent a car, but getting around was so easy. A 20 minute walk took us to several shops and restaurants. We hope to return someday soon!

We absolutely loved this charming home! It is beautifully decorated and had ample closet space for clothing so you feel right at home. It is exactly as pictured. We were able to walk to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Our family felt safe at all times. Mercedes and staff were so helpful and responsive if we had questions or needed help. The home was well stocked. So many necessities available! We had so much space, comfortable bedding, warm showers, etc. We would DEFINITELY stay again!! We loved it there!

We spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely house. The Playacar location gave us easy access to an uncrowded, pristine stretch of beach. We could eat and shop in the expanding array of restaurants and stores that extend beyond the famed 5th Avenue but easily retreat to our comfortable home, where a swimming pool, tennis court and gazebo are just a few feet away. Mayan ruins and tropical plants separate the house from the beach, only a block and a half away. At night, one can hear the waves and awake to the sounds of birds. The rooftop terrace is perfect for sunrises and sunsets. The house is well appointed. The clean, efficient kitchen includes a refrigerator with purified cold water and ice on-demand. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath and there’s an additional first floor powder room. There’s even an outdoor grill for ambitious chefs. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts on the terrace just off the kitchen and main living area. We look forward to returning!

What a delightful stay at the villa. Perfect for families with small children as pool was convenient, right across the street from the house, great children’s area, but not on site so you don’t have to worry about small children getting into the pool. The house has absolutely everything you could ever need. The communication was phenomenal, helpful and responsive. I would recommend to anyone.

This is a perfect home to access the beach (5 min walk) and the downtown area (10 min walk) in Playa del Carmen. The house is well stocked: kitchen has everything you could want, there are plenty of towels, and there are plenty of beach accessories (though some are broken/not working). AC works great in all rooms and everyone in our group commented that the mattresses were comfortable. Communication with Mercedes is very timely. Overall, this is a great home in a great location in Playa.

One of the best airbnbs we have stayed at so far. The villa is 2 minutes from a really nice spot on the beach and walking distance to town. Our kids loved the clear and shallow waters. Not only is it located within the secured pars of Playacar, it also has a security person for the culdesac . The villa is fully stocked, clean and very well furnished. There was absolutely nothing missing! The patio backs onto a lush garden with a Mayan ruin on it (how cool is that?!). The shared amenities were also really nice. Bring tennis rackets as the court is beautiful! The host is very receptive and easy to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate one instance to book this place. Consider yourself lucky if it’s available and within your price range.

We had a great Christmas at Mercedes’s house. We loved how close everything was. A quick 10 minute walk to the town and a 3min walk to the beach. The house was well equipped for cooking and they provided drinking water throughout our stay, which was great! I highly recommend staying here, and would come back again.

Very beauiful & clean w many areas to enjoy w different vibes. We loved the back deck and observing the raccoons, cats, coatis, birds, and agoutis. The rooftop was a great place to excersize in the sun and the second upper deck had a great view of the neighborhood. The location is very safe and the security was very kind. We even had mid stay cleaning service included. Electricity is listed as an additional cost but was included in our original price in the end. Any questions or issues were Immediatley resolved. They had beach chairs and a cooler which were great for trips to the beach. Our neighbour's live there year round and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and go. This place is very close to the main parts of town and easily accessible by walking. The pool is easy to access but was mostly in the shade all day (at least in January when we were there) so we were not inspired to spend time there. The transport Mercedes arranged for us was very helpful and convenient♡

Such an incredible house to live in for a week. We wanted for nothing. Everything was provided for within the house and just 1 block from the beach. Our children loved the house! We did think the poll was part of the house based on the photos, but it is a complex pool, not private. But with the beach being only 2 minutes walk. We did not worry about it. This is a definite recommendation!

Great place to stay that is very close to the beach! Transportation may have some trouble finding the location of the house so I suggest meeting any transportation services at one of the gates. I’d recommend this place to any friends and family!

Casa Bella Vista is a great place and perfect house. We stayed for 6 nights, we were 3 couples and we all had private bathrooms in our bedrooms; working air conditioning in each room-it, overall it was very comfortable. Mercedes and host went out of there way to meet us off schedule, the cleaning service accommodated us with our schedule and check out time and process was easy and accommodating. The swimming pool and area was very clean, family friendly; we did have to cross the street but it was no big deal, the home is in a cul-de-sac street with security gate entrance. The place provided beach towels, detergent for clothes washing, we had no problems with the appliances, beds are comfortable and very nice classy decor taste. Beach is a 5 minute walk, the main shopping area and taxi pick up is out of the gated community area and 10-15 minute walk....Shopping, pharmacy, Carl’s Jr., a shopping’s plaza and lots of souvenir shops. We definitely recommend this place and would come back.

“Casa Bella Vista won't disappoint! The house is in a great location (close to 5th Avenue and the beach) and the services and amenities provided by the Playa Paradise staff are excellent. For example, when the ceiling fan in the living room was not working upon our arrival, they sent staff to repair it within a couple of hours of reporting it. Our family has rented this house for five years in a row and counting........we are that confident that we will enjoy ourselves every year.”

The amenities of the house are excellent. It has a very well equipped kitchen. Mercedes and her staff of Playa Paradise are very responsive to our communications and they maintain the house and property well. It's a great place to relax in Playa del Carmen. This year, we even got to view the New Year's Eve fireworks from the deck of the roof top palapa!

The neighborhood seemed safe and secure and is beautiful to walk or bike through. The check-in host was very nice and provided a very thorough walk through of the entire house. Host provided many additional amenities we didn't expect such as beach chairs, umbrellas, etc, Sono speaker for an Ipod, shampoo, and a mid-week cleaning. The house was very clean when we arrived and the outside is well maintained - walkways and porch were swept almost every day. Great location - quiet street just off the main road. very short walk to the beach and archeological ruins, and also to the town shopping area. there is convenience stores, cafes, and souvenir shops a short drive or bike ride. I highly recommend this house!

The house's location is on a quiet cul de sac with easy access to a beautiful beach and easy walking distance to all the amenities of downtown Playa del Carmen---restaurants, nightlife and shopping. We particularly appreciate the large kitchen, dining room, living room and back patio for large family gatherings: sharing meals together, doing 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles, playing other games and generally enjoying the company of the three generations of family.

Maria01 / 03 / 2017This house is really beautiful and very comfortable. We were four couples and each had a nice bedroom and private bath plus an additional half bath on the main floor . It is accurate that the walk to the beach is about 3 minutes. The only drawback to the beach is that there is very little shade. We shopped at the Mega (about a $6 cab ride). It is very easy to catch a taxi by walking to the end of the block and flagging one. The kitchen is very well equipped and we made breakfast and one dinner. But I would highly recommend Chef Daveeds services. They cooked dinner for us two nights and the meals were exceptional with leftovers for the next day. The cost was around $60 per couple plus tip for each meal. We also purchased a day pass at the Reef Club ( about a 10 minute walk). The cost was $53 per person for the day and you could use their facilities from 9:00am to 6:00pm. All meals (except dinner) and beverages were included. We had a great day there.

Although it is in a very quiet neighbourhood, the beach and main streets with all the shops and restaurant are minutes away by foot. We could walk to the beach in three minutes and be in a nice restaurant on the fifth avenue in 10 ! There's a tennis court and a pool right across the street. The staff was available, courteous and the place was spotless. Mercedes made sure we were greeted on time and provided all the information we needed. Don't hesitate to book this place ! You won't regret it !!

Joseph01 / 12 / 2016This place was even better than it appears in the pictures. An absolutely stunning home in a great neighborhood that is walking distance to the beach and the downtown. You don't need a car, but parking is easy if you do. We had a group of 8 there and we more than comfortable and took advantage of the well equipped kitchen as well as the proximity to all Playa has to offer. As for Mercedes, she was incredible. We were not always the easiest guests (big group - mainly from Ukraine - in town for a wedding), but Mercedes was always so so responsive to any of our queries. She helped us coordinate the transfer from the airport, kept the place immaculate, and even allowed one of our guests a late check out when it was possible. Really, can't say enough about her as a host. Not to disparage the other great ones that we have had on AirBnB, but she is probably the best one that I have been fortunate enough to have. Definitely recommend.

The location in Playacard is great, with security 24h/day and very close to everything, 200 yards from a nice beach and 5-10 minutes walk to town. The location is very quiet, allowing for a good night sleep. The house is fantastic, really nice/modern open kitchen, dining- and living-rooms. It has four beautifully decorated bedrooms, each one with private bathroom. There is a full patio in the first floor, a sun tanning deck in the second, and a really nice "observation" deck from where you can enjoy an evening drink or breakfast with an ocean view. Lots of amenities are included, such as swimming pool, beach chairs and towels, grill, cleaning service, purified water, etc. Simply put, this is a fantastic place to stay in Playa del Carmen. I am very happy we stayed here.

They helped us arrange airport transfer, daily housekeeping, and a chef (Chef Daveed was AMAZING and I HIGHLY recommend him, too!). They met us at the villa when we arrived there, and explained everything that same night. We had a small maintenance issue during our stay, and the staff came by to check on it quickly. The space was clean, beautiful, and perfect for our group of 9. We had seniors, adults, and kids, and everyone had a great time. Big kitchen and table for everyone to sit together. Washer dryer was a big convenience, and linens and towels were also provided. There is a 5 min walk to the beach through some ruins in the backyard. You can't see it from the house, but you can hear it. If you get on to the 4th floor palapa, you can see it from there. The pool isn't private, and probably the only downside. Overall, if you can live without a beach view or oceanfront property, this villa is a great choice as it's affordable and fantastic with a really accommodating staff. With the amount we saved on the property, we were able to get some of the extras like daily housekeeping and a chef.

The location is the secure area of Playacar Phase 2 and just a short stroll to a beautiful beach and downtown shops and restaurants. The property managers Patricia and Maria Eugenia were very helpful and available to answer questions if needed. The house is well stocked with purified water supply, bathroom supplies, kitchen housewares, condiments,?and even beach towels and chairs. The house was spotless and maintained in excellent condition. I have no hesitation in recommending this home for reunions or vacations with family and friends.

The home was well stocked with kitchen items to make meals. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We loved the proximity to the town of Playa del Carmen (within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping) and to other attractions in the area (5 minutes to Xplor, Xcaret, etc. The neighborhood was safe and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

Be aware of that when trying to communicate with staff. We had problems getting ahold of them to make arrangements. House is beautiful and clean. Palapa on the roof was awesome. We were a large group of 8 adults. The houses are very close to each other so you can easily annoy your neighbors if you are late night people. This is a very quiet neighborhood, very close to beach and short walk to 5th Avenue. Kitchen well equipped to cook. I recommend Chef Daveed for in home chef service. Food was amazing. Go to Cozumel and check out the La International Bar - tons of craft beer from Mexico. Owner was super cool and fun.
Dennis01 / 02 / 2015We had a wonderful stay at Casa Bella! The villa is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The house is well-equipped with kitchen supplies, linens, and beach towels. We also made great use of the beach umbrellas and chairs that come with the house. One of the nicest parts of the villa is the 3rd floor veranda. Perfect for greeting the day over coffee or juice, or in the late afternoon shade for a light nap or a good book! We also really enjoyed cooking dinner on the grill, then eating outside on the garden-level veranda. We saw a few mosquitos at dawn and dusk, but the fan over the table seemed to keep them at bay (at least it did in February). That made it great to sit around outside after dinner over a nice bottle of wine! Life is guuuud! One of the best parts of Casa Bella is the location...a very short walk to the beach past a small Mayan (Website hidden by Airbnb) easy walk into town and the hustle-bustle of 5th Ave...but on a quiet cul-de-sac that gets very little traffic. Perfect! We were also very pleased with the attention and service we received from Mercedes and her staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and quick to reply to our questions -- both before and during our stay. All in all, we had a wonderful trip, and Casa Bella was a big part of that.

Mercedes and her team were very helpful with any questions that we had. This villa is ideal for a large group and sleeps 8 people very comfortably. The only let down was the uninviting shared pool that was surrounded by trees, so there was no sun. There was also no where to sit. Thank god for the rooftop terrace at least you can tan there. As long as the pool isn't your primary reason and you're ok with the 3 minute walk to the beach then I would definitely recommend booking this place.
