Our stay in Playacar was exceptional from start to finish. Merecedes is a true professional who responded very quickly to requests. We were using the home for 2 months and no real difficulties. The home is located perfectly in a safe residential community. Five minutes to a pristine beach. Two minutes to a shared swimming pool where often we were the only ones present. We've traveled to playa del Carmen several times in the pass and stayed in the all inclusive hotels, but after renting this house, this is the way to travel! Our host was very helpful in any questions we had, getting from the airport to the house was easy and once we were there and unpacked, a stroll to the beautiful beach or down on 5th avenue were all right there! you could not ask for more. If your traveling with a large family or handicapped like me you'll love the down stairs bedroom.

Location, location, location. Not sure what I expected from the rental but the rental far, far exceeded my expectations. To me, I would much rather stay in an ok place with great location than in a great place with bad location. This apartment was the best of both world: great location and way nicer than I expected. I guess I expected a tiny place (this place was basically a 1 bedroom and was decently sized); a tiny bathroom (the bathroom was ok); minimal to no amenities (not true! there were regular towels and beach towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies - in short, everything you could need!) The only real downside to the apartment that I can see is the noise level (which was totally not a problem for me and I loved it). If you are a light sleeper or are looking for something quiet, you would not be happy in this apartment. However, I love being in the middle of everything and love all the noise so, for me, it was perfect. It was great that we were given potable water too ... made it so nice to not have to worry about buying jugs of water. I loved the various ceiling fans and, although the AC was only in the bedroom, I thought it generally cooled most of the apartment. My only grievance (if i were to have one) was I was paranoid that I would get locked out if I went onto the balcony (this actually happened to my partner while I was napping haha). That being said, I'd rather have a self-locking mechanism than the high probability of my forgetting to lock the sliding door. All in all, i'm very happy I stayed here and would certainly stay here again and recommend this place to all my friends and family.

“The house is as beautiful as described. Four large bedrooms with their own bathroom and shower. The backyard and pool area was amazing. The house was short walk to downtown Playa del Carmen. I would highly recommend this house.”

Wonderful spot in a very central location. Close to the main street, clubs and great restaurants. Mercedes was always in touch and very helpful. We had a great time!!

Great place great location. It has all the amenities it has to offer but a bit pricey for what you actually get. The unstoppable toilet sewage smell all the time made my stay very uncomfortable. Had to have all the time the windows open for the air to circulate but then a lot of mosquitos would come in. They bit both of my sons all the time we started there.
