This beautiful roomy spacious home was beautiful. Everything that you need! Kitchen well stocked, beautiful decor and outside space. It was nice sitting on the roof at night or in the morning. A nice cooling pond in the back and very close 1 min walk to the beach!

Location is everything - 2 min walk through upscale neighbourhood of beachfront homes to world-class, white sand Playacar beach-no crowds! Also a 10 min walk to all of the shopping/restaurant/bar action of la Quinta Avenida….perfect location away from the busy town center and no need for a car. House is very spacious, attractive and comfortable for up to 6 (we were 4). The back patio with its lush jungle vibe and perfect plunge pool was cherry on the top. Mercedes, Marcello and Adolph were all super friendly and prompt with a couple of minor requests for assistance during our stay. Great value, very nice choice for a week long stay in a top notch location.

Really enjoyed our stay as a base camp to visit the local cenotes for diving throughout the week. The condo is behind private security which we did not expect but felt very safe in the neighborhood. We had a maid come in a couple times to tidy up. Would definitely use this place again.

Wonderful stay! This is our second time returning to PlayaCar and staying at a one of Mercedes properties and always is a pleasure! Great communication with host, pristine properties, great amenities. House is 3 minutes walking distance from the house, neighborhood is beautiful, pool complex is crossed the street, and is double gated( super secure). The house has everything you may need. House is beautiful and the backyard view is outstanding!

Casa Cascada is an amazing property which I would recommend to families or friends. We are a family of seven and Casa Cascada was our paradise. We had a personal check-in, the gentleman had a smile and came bearing gifts, coffee beans, chips, and salsa. He was helpful and brought our Playacar Access Bracelets with him, as opposed to going to the Playacar Office and paying the fee. The location in Playacar was safe and inviting. The subdivision where Casa Cascada is located is gated and has a security guard. Casa Cascada is only a five minute walk, through the ruins and down the street, from the beach. Its also a ten minute walk from the Shopping Strip, Cozumel Ferry, and great baguettes @ LaBrioche. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to make a meal for seven, including an air fryer. The AC units are abundant and kept us cool on the sweltering hot Mayan Riviera days. The new lock on the front door malfunctioned and we were temporarily locked out. Management was attentive and resolved the issue immediately. Luckily there was a back up plan, which made me realize I am not the only one who knows how to break into their own house. LOL. The neighbors were very kind and the community space across the street was perfect for swimming, as the pool in the backyard was too small to accommodate my five children all at once. We are planning to return to Play Del Carmen and when we do I will definitely stay at Casa Cascada, fingers crossed its available. It is a beautiful house with luxury finishes. We Loved It! Don’t hesitate booking this beautiful home. It was perfect for my family 6. We felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The house was stocked with everything we needed other than groceries. The house is close to the beach and a 10 minute walk to 5th Avenue.

The house is so nice, even better than the pictures! Mercedes and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Mario waited for us to check in on a Sunday night, he was very patient and showed us everything. One day I mentioned an AC was not working, they got it replaced the same day. The house and kitchen is well stocked, it all the beach equipments and washer and dryer, make it so convenient. It is only 4 minutes to the beach, with warm and shallow water, nice to swim in. The neighborhood is also quiet and beautiful. Can’t be happier with the house and the service. Thank you

Wonderful stay! There are ac units to turn on so that you do not get too hot, you do have to turn everything off when you leave at any point in the day or you will be fined a lot if they find anything on. Close proximity to all the shops and 5th! There is a trail right by the driveway that leads to ruins and beach access! We’re hoping to go back soon!! Thank you!!

This was a really nice place to stay. Everything looked exactly as pictured and the house was really comfortable. It was well stocked with most of the things you would need for your trip. There was maid service that came every three days, which turned out to be just right. The bed I slept in was comfortable and there were separate AC units in each room. I also liked that each room had its own bathroom. The house was close to the beach and shops (walking distance), has tennis courts, pool etc and everything was very well kept. I would definitely stay here again!

“Home away from home. Truly a must stay place. Mercedes was a great host and communication was always great. From checking in to check out everyone involved in the house was so kind and so accommodating. The house itself was incredible. The 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bath gave everyone enough space to do their own thing as well as having a great common space to hang around together. They have everything you could think of to make it feel like home. Beach towels to take a quick stroll to the beach or a plunge in the pool out back they have them. Want to make something delicious in the kitchen, they have everything you need to prepare an amazing meal, minus the food of course. Want a great nights sleep the beds are so comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet get away that is still close to everything this is the place for you. We most definitely will be back.”

This house is truly beautiful. It was hard not to drag my jaw on the ground just looking around at it. The private cenote pool on the back patio was such a delightful refreshing way to relax after a long hard day of playing at the beach! There's also a little balcony off of the master bedroom that was a perfect place to drink a cup of coffee and start the day off right! We had such a wonderful time here it was hard to say goodbye.

We are a family of 5 adults and had enough space to stretch out and have our own private time. We also like to cook and prepared many meals in the well equipped kitchen. We did a couple of shopping trips to Chedraui. I also appreciate plenty of linens, towels, beach towels and beach chairs. It was too windy to take the beach umbrella to the beach, but with a son who burns very easily that was a welcomed touch. Having a washer and dryer along with the soap was a bonus. I also appreciate a home that has plenty of toilet paper....I know, but in the middle of the night it's called peace of mind. I guess what I'm saying is the standards are met but its the extras like clothes soap, and extra tp, and salt and pepper that put this house over the top. We rented a car at the Cancun airport and was relieved to know we had a driveway to park in. The house is located on a cul-de-sac and is very quiet. Housekeeping service every 3 days and it was a quick walk into town. What more could you want?

Nice to have washer and dryer machines so we don't need to pack too many clothes. Short 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the Ferry area. Secured community with access control. I believe that it is part of the Playacar Paradise company in Playa Del Carmen.

We had everything we needed to cook whatever we wanted. My wife used the kitchen and I grilled corn and fish for 2 days. The house was extremely comfortable and EVERYTHING worked. The only problem we could find is the house is NOT OURS! We loved it.

Asimismo esta a 5 minutos de la playa. La pequena piscina dentro de la propiedad provee distraccion a los ninos. Y la piscina grande esta a solo 30 metros de la casa. Recomiendo Casa Cascada muchisimo para una excelente vacacion familiar. Nos quedaremos con Mercedes nuevamente cuando regresemos a Playa del Carmen.
Kelly01 / 07 / 2017There are 3 very nice sized bedrooms with large beds. The house is very well laid out and very comfortable. It is only 2 minutes from the beach. You can walk on a short trail behind the house, and you are just one street away from the ocean! We didn't utilize the neighborhood pool, but there is one along with a tennis court ( both just across the street). It is only a few blocks away from the main tourist strip in Playa Del Carmen. It is a beautiful home that is well kept. We just had a really wonderful time staying here, and would do so again!
Fred01 / 04 / 2017We had a amazing stay at Mercedes's house. This is the perfect house! Well furnished, you have everything you need for cooking , sleeping , chillin on the beach ... and even more. We were happy to discover that the cleaning was twice a week .. while we were there, it's so practical when you are traveling with 2 babies. It's located only 10 minutes away from the center, the walk is nice and safe. The area is super quite, and super closed to the beach / 5 minutes walk. I could talk also about being on the terrace, or enjoying the swimming pool. But I let you discover this place on your own. Last thing, the beds are just perfect, I'm still dreaming about the sheets and the mattress. Merci Mercedes !

The property is perfectly located between Cancun and Tulum and 20 min from Xplor and 30-40 min to Xel-Ha or Xcaret. The house is less than a 5 min walk to the beach and about a 25 min walk to la 5ta Avenida. The house has towels and chairs for the beach which is a plus! The property is awesome for all ages! I can't wait to go back.

This was my first time using Airbnb so I was nervous about the whole process, but we had a great experience. The home was absolutely beautiful and it had everything we needed. The beach was a 5 minute walk and there were chairs, towels, and coolers available for our use. Downtown Playa was about a 10 minute cab ride from the house. You could also walk if you wanted, but I would say its a 20 minute walk to downtown. We arranged transportation to and from the airport through Mercedes/Patricia and the drivers were on time and friendly. When we arrived at the home we were greeted by a gentleman who gave us a tour of the house, showed us how everything worked, and provided a listing of excursions/amenities that we could arrange. We took advantage of the chef service which was a great decision. The meal prepared by the chef was delicious and the best meal we had during our stay in Playa. We even had leftovers for the next day. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home on your next vacation to Playa. You will not regret the decision :)

Mercedes y todo su equipo se portaron muy amables en todo momento y nos apoyaron para resolver algunas dudas con el equipo de la casa. Totalmente recomendable para viajes familiares, la casa es muy amplia y tiene todo lo necesario (instrumentos de cocina, sillas para la playa, toallas, artículos de baño, etc). La playa está muy cerca de la casa y es muy tranquila. Muy pocas personas lo mencionan en los comentarios pero el fraccionamiento en el cual está situada la casa es muy agradable y apacible.

Maria met us at the house and showed us all of the amenities. The house was WONDERFUL, even more beautiful than the photos. It was so well stocked that we couldn't believe it, the neighborhood was lovely, and it was so close to 5th avenue and the beach. We would recommend this house and this group to anyone going to Playacar!

Michelle01 / 07 / 2015We had a wonderful week long stay at Casa Cascada. The home looked exactly like the photos. The house was the perfect setup for my family of 8. My 80-something grandparents stayed in the room on the first level and didn't have to walk up and down the stairs except to enjoy the rooftop patio. We were bummed that we couldn't really see the ocean from the patio, but we still enjoyed taking afternoon siestas in the hammocks. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and tidy when we arrived. I think I speak for everyone in saying that the beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in on vacation. The pillows were HEAVEN and we all wanted to find out where they had purchased the pillow so we could each take one back with us. It was easy getting to the grocery stores as taxis are plentiful if you walk up to the main road so we cooked breakfast and dinner in the house all but two days and saved a lot of money. My dad especially loved using the grill outside. Wifi in the house didn't work for two days, so we were given the wifi password for the house next door. We had to be sitting outside in the back to connect. Not a huge issue, but my husband needed wifi to do a little bit of work while we were in Playa so sitting outside in the heat and humidity whilst doing work wasn't his favorite. The water that was provided was a life saver! We went through four bottles and were very thankful that it was included. The walk into town was just a short 10 minutes, as advertised in the listing and the beach just 5 minutes. We walked over to the beach on one night but discovered that most of it was covered in red algae that had washed onto the beach. Just a tip to future travelers to Playa (not related to the house): you will want to visit Isla Mujeres to enjoy the crystal clear, algae-free, typical Caribbean ocean. It was beautiful!! Mercedes was quick to respond to my questions before our arrival and Patricia was super helpful and quickly responded to my emails while we were staying in the house. Thanks to everyone who helped make our stay in Playa just fantastic!
