We had a fabulous stay here for one month!! Location was perfect and the grounds were always keep clean!! We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time was and how Mercedes and her team were so accommodating and helpful! We had one situation with a broken toaster and it was replaced with a new one the same day !! Highly recommend to stay here ! We will be back !! Thank you from the Canadians.

Spent a month in Oct/Nov working remotely at this wonderful apartment which is well located in Playa. An easy walk to the main strip, beach and supermarket. An abundance of great dining and shopping options to choose from. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and secure. Great pool setting and perfect 30 degree celsius weather was a treat. Will definitely return next year

Great location, villa is really nice and it does feel like you are on vacation. Apartment overlooks pool which is a nice feature. Everything you need for your stay is provided in the apartment- plenty of towels and all necessary kitchen utensils. Suite is nicely decorated and is very spacious and comfortable. Just 7 minutes walk to the beach and 5th avenue. Not too noisy and overall very comfortable. We stayed for a month and we’re very satisfied with amenities. Place comes with parking if you were to rent a car. Mercedes was very responsive to all of our inquiries thought out the stay so no complaints here. The only thing that could not be fixed immediately was the washer, but that’s understandable. We were able to use outside laundry service so that was not a problem. For the longer stay electricity is extra, charged according to the meter reading from the deposit you provide upfront. Highly recommend - terrific vacation.

No complaints....no complaints possible. excellent value, location, quality....close to everything but no noise. Highly recommend with no reservations. Our daughter loved the pool as did all the other children. If you rent a car, there is a secure, dedicated parking space for the apartment. Perfect in every way.

The place is great! close to convenient stores and the beach, but far enough to where you can't hear all the partying that happens on 5ta Ave. The entire place is clean and the wifi is good. It's a great place to vacation.

“Absolutely delightful condo. Exactly as described; recently renovated, stylish furniture and fittings and exceptionally clean. What made it even better was the amount of amenities provided. I didn't need to buy a thing, and having stayed in two other rental condo's in Playa I was expecting to have to buy such item as extra kitchen utensils like tongs, vegetable peelers and extra soap and toilet paper and drinking water etc. All of this was provided in excess and very much appreciated. Good quality linens and extra beach towels and bath towels are provided beyond the 4 people the condo is set up for. The location of the condo is perfect. It's only 2 blocks from 5th Avenue, but this makes all the difference in the noise. The condo's are wonderfully quiet compared to other accommodation near the blaring music of 5th Ave. Further it's a 2 blocks to the Mega supermarket and right near a number of great restaurants like Moshe Cube, Don Sirloin and El Fogon. Additionally the block is very secure. It's gated and a key is required to enter the premises. There is also a security guard on duty in the evenings. The caretaker does a great job on maintaining the pool and the lovely garden. The secure and undercover carpark was also a big asset. Check-in was a breeze. I was met by a representative who provided keys and an overview of how everything worked. Mercedes answered my emails at lightening speed and was incredibly accommodating to my unique situation concerning the Coronavirus. I was devastated to have to leave early because of the pandemic and my country was closing it's borders. I was due to stay for 6 weeks and only got 1 week out of my booking. If I ever get to go back to Playa Del Carmen I won't hesitate to re-book this condo.”

Very convenient. Walking distance to restaurants, beach clubs, corazón mall and many other places. Even is in Playa center, it was usually quiet during our stay. Good for families too. We stayed with our daughter.

Большая гостиная зона, совмещенная с кухней, есть балкончик-где приятно посидеть вечером с бокалом вина. Кухня оборудована отлично. Чистота идеальная, обстановка и ремонт на высшем уровне, все новое. В каждой зоне кондиционеры, телевизоры и тп. Идеальное местоположение-рядом с 5-й авеню, но очень тихо! Окна спален выходят во двор-что обеспечивает тишину. До пляжа минут 5 пешком. Рядом за углом два гипермаркета для покупки всего необходимого помимо продуктов. Подземная бесплатная парковка с выходом прямо в апартаменты. Wi-fi работает отлично. Уборка идеальная -каждые три дня. Бассейн работает до 9 вечера. Хорошая охрана. Персонал в офисе апартаментов помогал всем необходимым. Очень подробная встреча, все объяснили и показали. Думаю вернуться сюда с родителями и детьми. Я останавливалась много где по всему миру-это были самые лучшие апартаменты за мою не маленькую историю путешествий.

It was very centrally located, within walking distance to grocery stores, beach and Quinta Ave. It was very clean. It was also secure with a locked gate at the entrance and security guard in the evening/night. The only complaint I have is that communication was challenging. They asked us to call if we needed things or had questions, but we had no way to call. We tried to email, but they did not get back to us. Overall, this is an awesome place with great value! If I return to playa del carmen, I will be staying here!

Relatively quiet area, mainly a bit of noise from neighbors and barking dogs, but away from the nightlife noise. A grocery store is two blocks away which was very convenient. Condo is well equipped and had beach towels which was a nice so that we didn't have to bring from home. Another nice item was the fact that we were left some discount tickets for beach and umbrella rentals at a local beach club. Great way to spend time on the beach. Mercedes was very quick on responding to inquires and very accommodating when we needed a bit of flexibility with check in and check out times. Overall I'd definitely recommend this condo and I would stay again when in Playa.

Está muy bien ubicado cerca de supermercados, restaurantes en la Quinta Avenida, playas, etc. A pesar de la cercanía al centro de la ciudad y la quinta avenida es muy tranquilo. Definitivamente recomendaremos el apartamento a otras personas.

The only one thing I would mention to be aware of is noise from neighbor's dogs and neighbors themselves, chatting very loud on the balconies or on the common area around the building at night. But it's not apartment's owner fault.

Philipe01 / 08 / 2015We spent 10 days in this condo. It was really great, very clean, next to the beach and the 5 th avenue but very quiet. The Wifi had a strong connection. The household was made every 3 days. The apartment was very well equiped , we had all we needed ( lots of towels, water...). They let us a phone number in case of problem ( we had a problem with a door and 10 minutes later at 23h pm someone came to help us) All the person we met were very kind ( the night watchman, the gardener, the Swimming pool cleaner). I would recommend this condo, for us it was a better stay than an hotel.

Ashton01 / 04 / 2015This unit was perfect for our 10day stay. Was very clean, AC worked great, wifi had a strong connection (even worked pretty good by the pool), and the grounds crew always kept the outdoor space immaculate. This unit was the ideal location, very close to all the action- but far enough distance that you didn't hear any noise from the bars/clubs. Things to keep in mind: 1) there are only 3 lounge chairs by the pool, if you enjoy laying on a lounger, and it's a busy season, you might have to get down there early and save one. 2-3 extra lounge chairs would be a nice addition around the pool. 2) the pool is right next to a busy street. Only thing separating you from the street and the pool is a fence & sidewalk. You hear a lot of traffic noise when at the pool (large utility trucks, motorcycles, etc). I usually brought my head phones to drown the noise. That being said, you don't hear any of that noise in the unit. 3) if you're sharing the unit with another couple/friends and not everyone plans to do things together- ask for a second key. The deadbolt to access the unit can only be locked with a key (from inside & outside). In the mornings, my mom would go for walks- if I was still sleeping, she wasn't able to lock the door and leave me in the unit- if she did, I wouldn't be able to get out from the inside (I would imagine this would be a fire hazard anywhere else in the world). Once we got a second key, this issue disappeared. These were all minor "issues" for us- but they were things that we didn't read before- so now making aware for others. The hosts were great, if we needed anything there was always a quick response. The night gate security was a nice touch, always greeted with a smile. Mega (grocery store) was only 1 block away too- nice convenience when you needed to grab something.

A very clean, and centrally located condo. Two blocks to 5th Ave, few blocks to nice beaches, and a few blocks to Mega. Only one drawback to a central location is traffic noise. Definitely not too bad, only noticeable when on the balcony. When the windows were shut it was very quiet. Would easily recommend to other families we know, or anyone else!

We enjoyed the super king bed. The place was nicely decorated and comfortable. Private parking a plus. We definitely would recommend this place.
Amit01 / 02 / 2014Mercedes and the Playa Paradise team are exceptional hosts and go above and beyond the norm to ensure all guests have a fantastic time. The unit itself was as promised; clean, great location, and very safe.... I'd say almost too safe, given the amount of security procedures to get in and out of the unit !!!! The neighborhood is quiet, and the little balcony affords a great breakfast spot in the mornings. Mercedes herself was very kind, and provided up some fabulous food recommendations off the beaten path that we all enjoyed and (Website hidden by Airbnb) someone who has visited Riviera Maya a few times, we appreciated not being directed to the typical "tourista" locales on 5th Ave, and fell in love with Aguachilles and el Fogon during our stay. Mercedes was always available via email, text or phone and the small gestures made by Play Paradise staff, such as leaving a bottle of wine in our unit on one of our birthdays did not go unnoticed :-) We fully intend to re-book with Playa Paradise on our next visit down to Playa Del Carmen, and are missing our recent visit already.
