Renta VacacionalGreat place, right on 5th ave, with a balcony overlooking 5th! Plenty of room. AC works great, wifi works great. I’d stay here again. I will give a couple of warnings though - as said in the description it’s loud. There’s a rock bar right downstairs that plays loud music until 2am. Noise doesn’t bother me so it wasn’t an issue, but if you need quiet to sleep be aware. Also the bathroom has a funky smell. Had to keep the door closed the whole time or the smell would escape into the rest of the unit. I think I saw some other reviews talking about this too.Dylan
KateCasa Azul Caribe is a perfect place to call home while in Playa Del Carmen. The neighborhood of Playacar is very safe yet convenient to Paseo del Carmen, 5th avenue strip, and just across the street from the beach. 5 stars!
JuanLa estancia en el airbnb de Mercedes fue excelente. Alberca privada, a unos cuantos metros de la playa, había sombrillas, sillas y toallas para la playa, camas cómodas, gran relación precio / calidad. Mercedes siempre contestó rápido a nuestras dudas y peticiones. 100% recomendando!

ROBERTOEste departamento está bien representado por las fotos. La localización es ideal ya que está al pie de la Quinta Avenida y a unas cuadras de la playa. Nuestro vuelo al aeropuerto de Cancún llegó a las 2am y nos pudrieron hacer el check-in a las 4am, un detalle que valoramos mucho. Recomendable.
The condo was just as pictured and described. Location was great being close to 5th (if you don't mind being in a very touristy area) and the beach was super convenient. We dealt with Patricia and Maria who were both lovely and responsive to our requests. A few minor things to mention and suggest -- the pool is lovely, however if you are interested in sitting poolside to sun, the pool gets no sun. Lovely place to take a dip and cool off though and my kids didn't mind the no sun. The balcony is lovely, but being so close to town, you do have the street noise - I didn't mind with my morning coffee at all. At night, a neighbor puts their dog out at 11pm who then proceeds to bark until 2AM (this happened more than half of our stay) so if you are a light sleeper, keep this in mind. Our other suggestion would be to provide a few portable chairs to carry to the beach. Although the 50% discount passes are great for chairs at Mamita's it still amounts to around $35-$40US per chair a day. $150 a day for my family - too much. All in all, we did love the place - it was comfortable and worked for our family and if we decide to visit again, would definitely reach out to Mercedes and Playa Paradise.Benita
The host was very helpful and quick to respond. The house was perfect for our family gathering of 6 adults and 2 kids. The house was probably the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. It was over the top in meeting our needs!Karen
ChristineThis place was exactly what we expected. The host communicated right away with any questions we had. The house was super clean and exactly how the pictures were in the listing. It was right on the beach and if the kids did not want to be in the ocean they could swim in the pool. We have a big family and the house was perfect for all of us to spread out and not feel like we were right on top of each other. The community was very secure and we felt super safe walking around when we needed to go shopping. I highly recommend this for large groups and families!!!
We had a wonderful stay at the penthouse in Playa Del Carmen. We were greeted from one of the friendly staff when we arrived who explained the rules, cleaning, the area which was helpful and made us feel very welcome. The house was in a perfect location to the shops. Very central and so nice to be able to walk everywhere especially around to 5th avenue. The house was incredibly clean and the origami made from the towels was a lovely touch. The only issue we had was the lack of shade on the top levels. We weren't able to stay in the hot tub for long periods of time or the third level due to heat. If there were umbrellas on the top two levels that would have been perfect. Overall a wonderful stay and we really did have the best time! Thank youElysse
